“When I became a mom, I knew I had to break the cycle of fad diets I had become accustomed to. This led me to take a deep dive into nutrition and learn what healthy eating should look like. I quickly realized one thing – it looks different for everybody! If I can help even one person who’s feeling stressed out and overwhelmed about nutrition the way I used to, I’m achieving my goal.”

Experience

Carlee has been an avid meal delivery service and meal planning app user for years. Turning that personal experience into useful information for other busy parents who want the best for their family’s nutrition was a natural next step.

Carlee offers an interesting point of view on the topic of health and nutrition due to her background in psychology and sociology. As a mom of a 4-year-old, she has a firsthand understanding of how unique sociological factors can impact how families choose what food to purchase and how they plan and prepare their meals.

Education

Carlee received an undergraduate psychology degree in 2018 with a focus on pediatric psychology. During her studies, she took a variety of courses that covered topics including nutrition, health sciences, child development, and sociology.

While completing her degree, she worked in the food service industry and received extensive training and certification on safe food handling, preparation, serving, and the risks of cross-contamination for food allergy sufferers.
